St Ives is a beautiful town and a great place for a holiday or short break at any time of year. There are many places to visit, lovely shops, great restaurants and pubs. So much to see and do whatever the weather. New year is a great time to visit too. New years eve sees all the main streets of town full with revellers of all ages, all in fancy dress. A fantastic atmosphere!

The view of St Ives from above Porthminster Beach Location
The property is well located and only a five minutes walk from the harbour front, shops, bars, restaurants, and beaches of St Ives. Approximately 200 yards away there are a range of shops including a small co-op supermarket which sells a good range of provisions including fresh produce, newspapers, beers, wines and spirits. There are also several takeaways and a number of cafes and restaurants.
Ground floor
Open plan lounge / dining room
The lounge is bright, spacious and open plan. There are two modern, comfortable leather sofas, one of which is a good quality double sofabed. Dining table providing seating 6 people.
Fully equipped with colour TV ( newly updated in August 2009 to a 32 inch LCD TV with freeview, dvd player, radio/cd/mp3 player and a selection of books, cd's, games and dvd's.

Kitchen
Kitchen is well equipped with many appliances. There is a dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are good sized work surfaces and ample cupboard storage.

First floor
Bathroom with w.c, wash hand basin, seperate shower cubicle and a bath.

Bedroom 1
A lovely light and airy and spacious room with 5ft king size bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside tables.

Bedroom 2
A good sized room with two full size 3ft single beds, canvas wardrobe for clothes storage and bedside table.

On the first floor landing you will find a door and a narrow stairway for access to the third bedroom.
2nd Floor
Bed 3
Situated on the 2nd floor this room has a wonderful view of the town and sea views including Godrevey lighthouse (as shown in the photo below).
The bed is a 'zip and link' super king size 6ft wide bed that can be converted into two full size single beds, by unzipping if required. Bedding for both options is available. Clothes storage and hanging rail. This room is spacious and airy but there are areas of limited head room.

Outside
The secluded and private decked area is found at the front of the property just below the car parking space. A patio furniture set is provided making it a perfect spot from which you can enjoy the beautiful sea view.


Those who know St Ives will be aware that parking is very difficult, peak
holiday times especially. There is a one way system in St Ives, the roads are mostly very narrow and often gridlocked with traffic. Driving in town can be very stressful and probably best avoided if at all possible.
Free private car parking, for one medium sized car, is located directly in front of the property.
It is possible to arrive at the house by driving around the outskirts of town thus avoiding the worst of the traffic.

The key could be fetched on foot from CRH which is no more than a five minute walk away.
There is a public car park nearby in Park Avenue which costs approximately £5.00 per day.
This is to the rear of the property, only a minutes walk.

Bed linen is included in the rental but please don't forget to bring your own towels.
